Members,

You are invited to come out Saturday the 4th to join us for a fireworks show.  Two of our esteemed members have donated the money to purchase fireworks. We have two experienced and certified men that have been putting on the fireworks show at Watts Bar for years.  It will be equivalent to the type and number of shots at Regional Park each year.  It is destined to be a great show.  We also have the Red, White and Blue Tournament that morning.  Please see below for the schedule of festivities.  Also be on the lookout for an email about the tournament.

Schedule on Saturday, July 4th:

Red, White and Blue Tournament – Tee Times 8:00 – Noon

No tournament or non-tournament tee times after noon on Saturday.

No Saturday Choose-Up on the 4th of July.

50/50 tickets will be available at the pool, pro-shop and bar all day, drawing that evening.  (Must be present to win.)

There will be a raffle for a Roku 5″, 4K smart TV. $20 a ticket. Drawing that evening. (Must be present to win.)

6:30 – 9:00 $ 2.00 hotdogs and $ 4.00 hamburgers will be available for purchase as well as soft drinks, water, etc.  And there will be beer sales. We will include condiments and chips with the hotdogs and hamburgers.  (While supplies last.)

9:14 Fireworks Show will Commence.

* Members are allowed to bring up to 4 guests and are strongly encouraged to arrive as early as possible to avoid a late push.  All vehicles will get checked in at the Magnolia Tree at the road on 17.  We will likely be parking cars on the tennis courts (access has been created) and on 18 fairway. The club is only open to members and their 4 guests.  If you want to order off of our normal daily menu to eat, you will need to order before 5:00.

We will provide a good amount of seating, however, if you own bag chairs, please bring them.  There will be no sitting on the putting green or any other green. There will be a kids area set up on #1 tee after golfers clear from the front with tents and some games. The pool will be open until the show is over as will the bar for beer or soft drinks or snacks.  We look forward to seeing everyone.

Sincerely,

Ken Heater
